The systems that make the website available acquire technical data necessary for Internet communication, including IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, outcome and browser information.
Data provided voluntarily
When you use the contact form or write to the email addresses indicated, we process your identifying and contact details and the content of your request. Fields marked as mandatory are necessary in order to reply to you.
Bookings
If you enable the external service and use the booking widget, data is collected directly by Regiondo in accordance with the information provided in the relevant service.
Cookie consent record
To be able to demonstrate what choice you made about cookies and when (accountability obligation, GDPR Art. 7), we record a random identifier generated by your browser, the external service categories accepted or rejected, the version of the notice shown, and the date. The IP address is never stored in plain form: it is passed through an irreversible hash function before being recorded, so it cannot be traced back to a real address. This record is kept for evidentiary purposes for a maximum of 24 months.
Purposes and legal bases
- providing the website and ensuring its security and functioning: legitimate interest and legal obligations;
- responding to requests and organizing visits: performance of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject;
- fulfilling administrative, accounting or legal obligations: legal obligation;
- loading optional external services: consent, which may be withdrawn at any time and is given separately for each service;
- demonstrating the cookie choice made: legal obligation (accountability).
Data is retained for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose and, where required, for the periods provided for by law.
Recipients and external services
Data may be processed by appointed technical providers, acting where necessary as data processors, including: Regiondo GmbH (booking widget), OpenStreetMap Foundation (map on the Contact page), and the website's hosting provider. The Regiondo widget, essential to the booking service, loads automatically under Regiondo's own privacy policy; the OpenStreetMap map instead stays blocked until you give specific consent. Links to Google and Tripadvisor open independent websites with their own privacy notices.
Any transfers outside the European Economic Area depend on the external services chosen and take place in accordance with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR and declared by the respective providers.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, without prejudice to processing already carried out. You may contact the Data Controller by email or via the contact form, and lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
